Program Assistants

Interested in being a Program Assisant? Program Assistant training will take place in the fall, prior to the start of our CanSkate and PreCanSkate programs. Program Assistant must be 12 years of age, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with young children. Please contact Azure-Dee Perkins at programs@barrieskatingclub.com

 

Our program assistants are the heart of our CanSkate program! These experienced skaters work alongside the coaches to help out our newest skaters. They perform a variety of jobs, helping out one-on-one with our beginner skaters and pairing with coaches to work with the CanSkate groups.
