The BSC, along with many non-profit organizations, is finding it increasingly difficult to maintain a reasonable balance between member fees and accessibility to all in the community. Without outside assistance the reality is that many children may not have the opportunity to engage in and benefit from the development that the BSC can offer. In an effort to maintain our fees at a reasonable level.

WHO ARE WE?
NON-PROFIT Skate Canada sanctioned organization, providing quality skating programs for 60+ years in Barrie. The BSC strives to achieve a feeling of community, and inclusivity in a positive recreational and competitive environment. Barrie Skating Club is led by a small group of dedicated volunteers. Our club operates out of four different arenas in the City of Barrie. Our coaching team are all NCCP certified and our elite coaching team are World and Olympic level coaches who train skaters locally and internationally. Our Skating club operates October-March and is considered a large skating club with over 1200 members.
Our programs include:
- Pre-CanSkate (ages 2-4)
- CanSkate (ages 4 +)
- Adult and Teen Skate (ages 16+)
- Power Skate
- StarSkate
- Competitive Skate
- Adaptive Skate
- Parent and Tot Skate
- Program Assistant
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Your support will help us maintain affordable registration, create new programs, skater and coach development and to ensure every child has a safe and fun recreation outlet, and learning experience with the opportunity to reach their full potential.
One time Donation
We are always looking for small incentives to give to our skaters, for instance, coupons, grab bags, gift cards. We would love to hear from you if you have something else in mind for our skaters.
